I would like to say that Liberty has grown alot since I first started going there.
The owner has changed his staff, added more playing fields, added more refs, has added older more knowlegable refs, lowered paint cost, added more fill stations, improved the check in desk area (by seperating rentals, fill station, and sign in area).
I played there last Sunday, and the games were great. There were alot of advanced players. They divided the walkons into beginner and advanced, I would say there were about 60-70 advanced players.
We played plenty of games. They have really pushed between games to get peolple ready for the next game, Maybe 10 min. between games.
And as for Frank ( the guy on the intercom). He's only doing his job by getting people down to the staging area intime, and he is advertising the Big game schedule for the field, yea commercials are boring, but its good business....Wouldn't you do the same???!!
So for me and others I know Liberty is a great field for balling. They have lots of walk ons every weekend, good prices, large fields, multiple fields(9?) wooded and open w/ buildings, fast pace between games, and as far as I can tell the refs are doing all they can given the size of the fields and the number of players involved.
