Well we decided to try it because prices seemed to be better than usual ($100/2000)...Besides if you take a membership price drops to $50/2000 so we figured out why not?
2 fields:
- upper level: huge open field with obstacle to hide behind.
- lower level: huge forest field with river in the middle. Great for Scenario
1st problem: you pay $1/1000psi for air refill...I know I am being picky but I guess I am used to the free air included in the starting cost.
2nd problem: well that day ALL the players using Tippmann A5 or C98 were breaking the provided balls...maybe the storage was bad, or the temperature too cold but it was a real pain...When we commented to the owner, he took his marker, shot 200 balls and said he had no breakage...Well if more than 20 players have problems versus 1 without???? Not impressed on that one for sure
3rd problem: I have never waited so long between games...In 2 hours we played 2 games...Seriously...When we complained to the referee he told us he is not being paid enough to take complaints...The thing I dont understand is that wouldn t it make more sense to play more games so they sell more balls?????
Globally it has potential but my bad experience there wont make me come back...
1. $1.00 per 1000 PSI. A big issue when paint is $5.00 per 100 balls?
2. Again you're getting paint for $5.00 per hundred so it isn't the absolute top quality. We get you the best paint we can while still being able to offer the lowest paint price in Ontario. Also we very rarely have complaints on the paintballs and we stick to the same few brands so yes, the temperature of the day most likely had quite a lot to do with it if there were issues. Then again, if you go a full day of playing and don't break any paintballs then you had a rare day.
3. The only time in which there would be that few games played in that amount of time is during our lunch break. We serve hotdogs, hamburgers and drinks to the players during an hour-long break in our playing time. If you only played 2 games in the hour prior to that it was probably because they were 2 half-hour games coupled with our lunch. We keep the players playing as much as possible but our lunch break has received a positive response and we will continue to work around it.
First you make it sound like $5 for 100 balls is a great deal...It is when you have quality balls (still a mark up of 100%...) but you admitted yourself that you are selling low quality and therefore I should be happy to pay ony $5...Other places charge $6/100 balls and serve premium balls...
Second I agree that breaking one ball here and there is normal...But 20 players breaking 3 balls out of 5, I dont think it s normal...
Finally: I was there at 9AM - Lunch was at noon: I played one game...Please...
I have played every field in the GTA and Camp X has potential...Just admit your system needs improvement instead of giving bad justifications...
