Game On ---- better bunkers, Game on has the bigger field with more ease to move around, but the field is on a very noticeable slant which Timberline doesn't have
Directions to the Field:
Take stanton exit, turn toward the dairy queen and follow the road for a couple of miles. You will pass a brick "plant" and will eventually approach a steep hill. The turn-off is at the base of the hill.
Review:
Being a new field, I decided to check it out and weigh it against the other fields around. I found that the turn-out wasn't as good as I hoped for, BUT the a local officer had been killed and the visitation/funeral was that weekend. Regardless, there was 4 people there that could play, and the competition was great. The owner, Montlee, was more than friendly, and is probably the most helpful owner I have met. The field is smaller than expected and some of the bunkers are smaller than anticipated. However, the bunkers are placed well and I assume as business picks up - larger/better bunkers will be ordered for next season. Prices are better than most, but the inability to adequately fill HPA tanks is a downside (but Montlee is taking care of this). Overall, for a field that has just started - it is an excellent place to play and can only get better. I plan to play there the next time I plan play.
