The field is kind of hard to find, but I'm not good with directions.
Review:
Paintball Atlanta has several fields if you are into speedball and airball, etc. Each field is separated by netting and there are several types of speedball to chose from. Paint is outrageously expensive and you can't bring your own so they rip you off there. Actually, all the prices are way over-inflated. The refs are not great and most of them are younger than 16. The refs also do not get into the game so paint-checks are out of the question, and I found myself called out of several games because the ref thought a paintball broke on me but he was too lazy to check. The refs and owners are not very friendly and seem to not like their jobs. Safety is a very important part of paintball and Paintball Atlanta does do an excellent job in regards to safey precautions, sometimes too strictly (if you touch your mask to check for a break, you will get called out for "adjusting" your mask). Paintball Atlanta is a safe, but cold and unfriendly place with extremely high prices. Field selection is pretty decent, but if you want woodsball, their course is aweful.
I give it a five because of the rudeness of the players and refs there; as well as the laziness of the refs to actually "ref" the games.
I'm gonna start of stating that I ref for PBA. Most of us are very friendly and we try to help everyone with quetions and answers. As for the prices how are they over-priced? If you have your own equipment its $10. All day air is $10, now all you have left is paint and ok the paint is $80 a case but you need to mention its also PMI Prems, so its not as if you're getting cheap paint for the price. Also the owner is nicer than any of us. She does all she can to help out when needed and is everyone enjoys having her around.
Now as far as one our refs calling you out when we watch you getting hit, well thats the refs choice. I care less about getting shot, and honestly most of us are so used to getting lit up by little kids that its became a part of our life. Also what does the rudeness of players have to do with the business? You're one of those players . . . . And I can possibly say at some point whats made you mad is you messed with your mask and we yanked you from the field. I dont care how "strictly" you want to say we are, we make sure every player walks onto the field in one piece and comes off in one. EVERY field says DO NOT TOUCH YOUR MASK. Its a way of life for a paintballer. I'd rather lose one customer than that player lose his eyes. Im truly sorry you didnt have a good time.
