Review: See posting below"" I would like to point out a few things about this persons posting. I just want to mention a few things this is not in any shape or form a verbal attack on your comments. I've been to Cape Cod paint ball many times and I stopped going back due to a few reasons. East Coast paintball opened up and was highly professional from their staff on the field as well as their many pro shops in several locations. Unfortunately they closed due to some unknown for scene circumstance. You mention that you worked there as a ref to play for free I think that's a great thing but I find it rather disheartening and superfluous due to the fact of the language you use in this posting. If I was the owner and you used the language and the attitude that you wrote on the field in front of eight year old children I would've fired you on the spot. Enough said about that issue I do find that paintball fields around the country have went to buying and using field paint only is rather discourteous to the game. We all go out and spend thousands of dollars on high end markers and then we are expected to shoot the crappy as paint on earth. Plus be charged exuberant fees for the paint. Wholesale the average case of pain costs between 30 and $40 for the high-end paintballs then a market up $20-$30 because it's convenient and located on the field. You are right about a few things in your posting which I totally respect and understand the Ref is fully in charge of all activity on the field as well as abiding by the fields rules and safety guidelines. This is a reliability on the owners responsibilities for ensuring and having insurance for the field. If you cannot abide by the rules you deserve to be informed one time to put your mask down and if it's the second time you should be told that you're out until the next game. Then whoever is in charge not the ref because the ref may hold some feelings inside and the player may be disgruntled that he was asked to leave the field. So the supervisor should inform the player that these other rules if it happens again you'll be asked to leave. This stops anyone from complaining and stopping the game due to two peoples different opinions and attitudes about the call. If you are stealing from the field all you're doing is costing the people who pay more money because the owner needs to increase his fees to cover his losses because of you.
I find the field rates as a good field for outdoor play your speedball on the other hand needs a little work. Also I have to point out that your staff is not highly motivated on the field Ref your games. I do enjoy playing their but I wish you had the chance to play at East Coast paintball was a highly professional staff and the field was very well kept. The owner invested his money into his team and his field. It doesn't seem to me this is just my opinion that Cape Cod invests their money into their field as much as their pocket. I think you could offer days where semi pro or intermediate players could bring their own paintballs in to use and if you that hard up for money charge us $10 extra for us bringing in our own paint. Like I said this is my own comments and I hope I do not sway or change anybody's mind about the field like I said it is great just needs to be kept up and prices should be lowered thank you for your time

"quote from other posting" friend. You do something wrong like o i dont know..... steal paintballs, hell throw you down to the ground, sit on you, and then wait for the cops to come....The downtime is from the players not the reffs, the faster you get your sh*t together and get ready we can play more games, we are always ready and one thing youll hear alot is "whenever your ready just line up over here", we try to make it convient for the players. I have never experience this bad tech issue....When i was first starting out i had a walmart gun, it broke in the begining of the day and they let me rent a gun while they tried to fix it. When I went to go try to pay for the rental and the tech looking at it, they said they didnt fix it so to not worrie about it....they also offered me a deal on a tippmann A-5. And a A-5 was a 250 dollar gun and they never looked at me like im a fool. We try to give a veriety to the players, which involes 12 fields, 6 speed ball and 6 woods type things but with bunkers and forts...spools and hyperbol is almost like speedball. And no, we are sorry but the speedball fields are not open every day, it takes an hour to blow up one field and they are not going to do it if it is raining or they are not going to if it is raining or something....Also you have to remember one of those speedball fields cost 32""
