Great field for a rec-baller. Not so good for pros. More woodsball than speedball, but sometimes one guy brings his sup-air field and they have tourney's on it.
The best thing about the field is the same thing lots of people complain about - the owner's stance and attitude towards SAFETY.
I for one appreciate it when he ))$*)(#@)# at some idiot who's firing in the parking lot. I love this sport, but don't want to lose an eye playing it. Otherwise, he's been really nice, as long as you're nice to him... and keep those goggles on. I even forgot to plug my gun at the end of the last game of the day, and he just remineded me (nicely) to plug.
Otherwise, the mix of players and the attitude of the other players (at least today) is really good. People seem to come to this field to have a good time... not play tourneyball/"light-up-the-noob-ball". This is a great place for new players to the game (IF they can follow simple directions). It's places like this one that help our sport grow.
So if you're a noob... come on out. If you're a dedicated recball player... come on out. If you're a tourney player just looking to have a good time... come on out. If you're a tourney player looking to shoot up some newbies and feel good about it, stay the @#%@&^! home. (tongue planted firmly in cheek =-)
I'm going back for sure.| Last edited on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2003 at 5:21 pm PST |
