Review:
Clearwater Paintball Fields started up last year as a private , booking only field. This year they did some expansions to thier 120 Acre Field. They have aproximately 40 Acres of woodsball fields and currently have a small Speedball area set up.
They mostly have Woodsball/Scenario paintball events and they are the current hosts of the Central Alberta Woodsball League , a Woodsball based format that plays over the summer.
They are a new field, but the courses they do have open are well maintained, and they have AWESOME staff.
Safety: Enforced pretty strictly.Waivers and an orientation for players to sign. ALL refs have first aid kits ON them in the Woodsball Fields
Fields: They have 4 woodsball fields up and running and a small speedball course
Prices:They have some pretty impresive paint prices.
Proshop: No proshop onfield. They have a store in Town.
Staff: WOW!! These guys are great! They are willing to make sure that your having a good time. DEFINATELY recomend them for stag parties. ; ) We had a marker go down during one of the games and they gave buddy a FREE rental for the rest of the day !
Facilities: Not bad pick nick area , big firepit, smaller shelter to get outa the weather. No flush toilets yet ,though.
Overall: I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place , and the people that we were playing that day were great.
Drawbacks: They are still mostly call to book, but have special walk on days and host other events. Just call them to see what is going on. They are mostly Woodsball based but are gonna get a few more speedball courses set up over the summer. They are still getting set up for thier "official" public opening (2008-09) and thier courses look to have a lot of promise.
