Review: The worst paintball experience of my 4 years of playing.

The setup is geared totally to renters. If you own - go somewhere else.

I arrive, fill out the waiver. Told I have to purchase a open class or rent. Open class means I can use my own paint . . . . I don't have any . . . they won't sell me any at the counter, but they say I can purchase from the pro shop. Costs me $28 plus $4 tank fill.

Purchase paint from pro shop - $16 for 2 x 140 pods (I'm a pump player, don't shoot that much). Enter field. FIre off a couple of test rounds. Oooh, sir your using pink paint. You can't use pink paint on the field. WTF. I purchased it from your pro shop . . . were not associated with the pro shop I'm told.

Ask for a refund and leave. Never to come back. In the 4 years of playing have never had a place were 1) they won't sell you any paint unless your a renter 2) were the pro shop would sell you paint you can't even us on the field in the same building.

Too much BS. Better places to play.

First, to clarify Next has 3 player classes (4 if you could parties):

Renter: Rent their equipment, buy paint from the counter at the field. Can lpay with owners/renters.
Owner: Bring your own equipment, but buy paint from the counter at the field. Can play with owners/renters.
BYOP: Bring your own paint and equipment. can only play with other BYOP (open) players.

I'm guessing you tried to go on the field for an owners game, not a BYOP game (it's confusing, but thats the way it is). Then they saw you using non field (store) paint, and tried to kick you out. If you had waited 2 minutes till the next game (usually a BYOP round comes after an owner/renter round) you could have gone on and played with your shop paint.

Now, for why they wouldn't sell you paint:

You were registered for BYOP, which means you DON'T use field paint. Its a bit of a dumb rule, since if you willing to accept the risks, they shouldnt stop you, but thats the way it is. Besides, why buy their (rediculously overpriced) field paint when you can use the (cheaper and better) paint from the shop?

Eric...check your sources man...

A: Owners cannot play with renters. Next staff is very strict about that one.

B: He said that the store sold him pink paint. He went on in the BYOP class with paint sold to him in the same building...yet Next rules say that only white or yellow fill is allowed. Now why would a conjoining company sell paint not used on the field. (and yes they are associated...Next brings in most of Premiums buisness. One can't survive without the other. Now that being said...the staff in the pro shop should have at least warned Shee about the rules at next. Poor Staff...poor buisness. Nuff Said.

WTF are you talking about from what i read it is completely your fault. The field CLEARLY WRITES ON A GIANT POSTER white and yellow fill only you should have checked what fill you bought frmo the proshop. And they will sell you paint if your not a renter you can choose to play in the gun owner section and use field paint.
