We got there at 9am on a Saturday when they were opening. The four of us signed up w/ 2 needing rental equipment. We asked some questions as to when people started showing up. They told us that the weekends were open and they didn't do any private groups on the weekends. They also told us to help ourselves to any fields, that we could use a ref if we wanted, but that we didn't have to. Their HPA was self-service, as was the chrono. We chrono'ed our own guns and they never came back to verify. Throughout the day, then only games that were organized were for X-Ball. There ended up being 4 different "private" groups on a weekend. This was a pain because we went to go play their "jungle" field and the group didn't want to play with us. We ended up playing our own games all day, picking up other small groups when we could. In the 5+ hours we were there, only ONE game did we have a ref and more than 6 total players. They kept saying they were going to do a woodsball game (which is what we were there to play), but kept taking the "private" groups out there instead. We overheard a guy complaining about this and then later when I was getting CO2 filled, heard the proprietor's talking about him. One of the guys was describing him while the other guy made a comment as to, "which one was saying this? I'll go straighten him out."
-Bathroom's- Portable's only
-Food- hot dogs, frozen pizza, plenty of drinks. Prices are ok, not great though.
-Fields-huge X-Ball, so if you're into this.....3 other fields: 1 with wooden barriers, one w/ plastic barriers, and their "jungle" field. In all honesty, their "jungle" field is a mess. Pretty much an overgrown lot with some trails, barriers, and 2 trailers. The undergrowth is VERY thick and tripping hazards are everywhere. You CANNOT run through this field.
-Pricing-one of the more expensive fields I've played on. Field fee is $25. Rental equipment is an additional $15.
-Paint-they actually have a LOT of paint choices and the prices are reasonable. We used Draxxus Blaze for $50/case.
-Safety-This is really the biggest problem. No organization, so you're pretty much off doing your own thing. We were trying to "play" a game on the "jungle" course and saw some kids just walking through there. Not even paintballing. No masks, guns, or anything. Just literally walking through! At around 2pm, they came around asking about wrist-bands, saying that the ref's were supposed to start looking for them. We told them we were the first ones there and they didn't give us any. They also had the waiver forms trying to verify that guns were chrono'ed. We told them what we were shooting, and they just initialed the waiver forms. Their waiver forms are simply a waiver of safety on this field.
Overall- 2 out of 10
Paint and drink prices ok. Safey and organization non-existent.

quote:Originally posted by blitzball well i have played at blitzkrieg everyweekend for the 5 months and i was there that weekend, for 1 blaze is not 50 a case, for the second lie blitzkrieg has allways ran games organized, our jungle has games called many times a day, true there were alot of private partys but all you had to do was go to a ref and ask can u start a woodsball game or ref can you ref us in this field the refs there are very good and usally drop anything to ref a game, 3rd, safty is very known at blitzkrieg ( read the other reviews) i have not seen ppl walk around the woods without mask on... and for the wrist bands after you crono you are supposed to go back to the window tell them your name and what your speed was, your not to just walk away and expect them to find you, and for the man that was complaing they did stratin him out by sending one of the ref's named charlie to start a woodsball game for walk on's, i dont know who told you that there is no private partys but never have i heard anyone say that, blitzkrieg is a very clean safty orented field and they are very organized, yes they were down on ref's that weekend because of the overload of private partys, but all you had to do was go to the refs in the X-ball field and ask them to ref you.
and the jungle is very dence hince the name jungle and when people usaly play woodsball i dont see many run becuse usaly you want to stay hiddin but maby i am wronge
and agin for the safty portion of your review you are complety wronge... i will walk you throught blitzkrieg when it opens bunkers are allready blown up X-ball games start being publickly called around 9:30 or until they reach a good amount of people, you can either enter a publick game or start your own all you have to do is ask a ref, woodsball usally starts being called around 10 10:30 and goes throught the day ( true there were many partys there and they did hog the field but once someone complained they sent charlie to fix it) in the woods there are to trailers and wooden barriers and it is very dence, the other 3 field are made for start your own games and if you want to go into one all you have to do is ask a ref
i am sorry you had a bad day but you should come back and try it one more time maby you will be suprized
but as you can see in our other reviews they are a nice field and a family orented place
your not going to get the customer apprition anywhere like you get there
have a nice day sorry you had a bad time but dont hurt a field good repution with lies
If you read this dispute, you'll see many referentces to "our". "Our jungle " and "our other reviews " clearly show a bias. Since we were the FIRST ones at the field and nobody told us to come back after chono'ing, it wouldn't have been hard to "find us". Just because the disputer did not see certain things happening, does not mean it didn't happen. I stand beside my review and the fact that I would never play on that field again. The fact that the disputer referenced one of my comments as "for the second lie" shows the lack of integrity of the dispute.
