I arrived to the field at 9:00am and there were a few people there. I stayed until 1:00pm. I had a great time playing. Most of the people there were practicing speed ball. They invited me to join but I didn't feel I was up for it so I mostly played with the other group. It was a sunday, so there weren't many people there. The owner Robert (pops) was really friendly and walked me over all the fields before play, which was nice since I had not seen the fields. They are planning on adding some more speed ball stuff soon and had a lot of woods ball/speed ball fields. The one large woods ball field was just too big for the small group (5-6 of us) to play on but I am anxious to get back up there on a saturday to give it a shot.
The main ref, Jeff, was very good. He tried to split the teams evenly so that we would have the best competition. He was training a younger guy who made a few questionable calls but it didn't really matter. After the match, we talked about what was happening and I think he will be better next time.
Safety - Some of the best safety I have seen at fields. Netting everywhere. Great for watching. Barrel socks only. No plugs.
They have lots of rental guns and a good air setup. HPA or CO2. What ever you need.
Field paint only. What ever you don't shoot you can bring back next time. They had Zap out there today.

The only negative thing that I could see was that parking was a little unorganized. The fields are split by a road. Most people just pulled off to the side.

I'm gonna give them an 8 just because I feel the could be a little more organized when getting ready to play and the parking stuff...| Last edited on Tuesday, December 4th, 2007 at 3:43 pm PST |
