Dispute:
I agree with how teams can be mismatched on some occasions, but that is not intentional or a pervasive problem at this field. There are times in the beginning of the day that the refs are unaware of the skill level of all of the players and have to see for a few games how the games play out to get a feel of whether or not there's a mismatch. There are times as well when players show up throughout the day, and the refs randomly assign them to a team unaware of their skill level and the whole monitoring process for mismatches has to be re-checked. Also, you sometimes have players that play together often and want to practice together, but, for the most part, these players are good about splitting up if games are mismatched, and the refs have no problem separating them to different teams. Also, the refs are really good about switching the teams up to make it more even especially if a player(s) voices his/her concern to the refs or staff. Perhaps, the refs can keep a closer eye out and switch up the teams, if after about 1-2 games, they notice the teams are heavily mismatched. But, the refs, in my opinion are really good and attentive to the players. You have to remember, there are only 2-3 of them per game and about 10-30 players playing all shooting 100 balls or more at once, so they can't keep up with everyone. But, it is the players role to be sportsman (getting hit and calling self out or calling for a paint check) to make it fair and fun for the sport.

i agree also with duster105, i am a ref at thepaintballfield and i do agree we need better ones. i did not partlicularly ref that day, but i know who did. the ones who did are not as customer friendly as the other ones. but it is hard to make equal teams, sometimes we misjudge the skill level of other players. but all and all i hope duster 105 you will return to the field and have a good time.
