Prices: for non-members the prices are pretty to standard to that of any other recball field. they are pretty good about giving deals on both paintballs and enterance fee to groups.
membership prices are better than most fields, and thier membership get their members onto 3 fields (2 indoor 1 outdoor). and the price to buy the membership is better than any field i have played at (probably better than any field in ontario).
staff: for the most part the staff is great and very helpful. sometimes you will get someone having a bad day, but i guess that is normal for any business. when it gets really busy it can take some time before they can help you, but its not like they drag their butts.
refs: again for the most part the refs are great, you can tell who is experienced, and who isnt, and which refs are experienced players. the two guys that reffed saturday around noon were both great, very friendly, but also dont take crap, they caught a guy shooting 50fps over and shut his gun down (guy said it spiked up after the first ref checked him when he started playing), made him use another or gave him the option of a free rental gun. game are alwasys run very quickly with little down time, and they dont just play paint wasters to make money, there are some really cool games they play that other fields dont even come close to have something similar.
the field: nice big indoor field. its all one field but 4 distinct areas (urban area with buildings, castle ruins- castle wall and stuff, loading docks- have like crates and boxes and a new big ship is going in (it looks done to me but they said they just have to paint it), and the forest area- tons of wooden tree/bush shape bunkers or all shapes and sizes also has another big castle at the end of it.)
they have a good chrony range with a big counter and also has targets to shoot at (its not just a hole in a wall like some fields).
when i played saturday the field was abit gooey, but with march break im sure they had a lot of players shooting alot of paint. for the most part the field is very clean.
one thing i cant stand is the lighting, its too damn dark, sometimes it fun playing with low light, but not all the time. add more lights and brighter lights on the field and its good.
oh one other thing, holy crap in the winter its cold on the field, it used to be a curly rink but come on, put in some sort of heating system, it isnt bad when you start running around, but my fingers were always cold.
field: 7/10 (more lights, brighter lights, and heat and its 9/10)
off the field;
massive players lounge/ staging arena with tons of tables and chairs. the counter area when you pay, get paint, or anything else is huge. its nice being able to buy paint right near the field door instead of having to walk all the way back down to where you sign in.
there are windows going down the entire lounge so you can watch, and for the most part are clean to see through. the players lounge is too dark like the field, there is no way you can strip your gun down (if you drop a small piece it can be hard to find), but you can just go to the counter area where it is brighter.
there is an area right by the front door where you fill out waivers (good you people coming in dont get in the way of players and vice versa). they also have change rooms, decent wash rooms (not a 5star hotel, but good for a paintball field), and a open room just for rules (nice and quiet, huge- easily fit 40+ people in, and nice comfy chairs and couches to sit on).
the great thing is the upstairs, which also has a huge windowed viewing area, so its great for parents, or players taking a break to go up and get a birds eye view of the games. they are long party tables and other round glass tables and lots of nice chairs and couches to chill out on.
off the field:8/10 (make it brighter and its a 9/10)
all around this is a nice field, my only beef is to add more lights, and get brighter/new bulbs for the ones that are in there.
