Madcow (Best in area so far)

Metro Indoor
Many more fields in Iowa, Kansas and Texas
Review:
Played for the first time here on the first warm Saturday of the year. If you live in Omaha expect an hour and a half drive. I showed up around 1:30-2:00.
The Good:
They were serving real food when I showed up, grilled hamburgers
About 40 people, a ref said thats about what they normally get on weekends
Not many high end markers, I had my Spyder MR2, and saw an Ion and A5, the rest were rental.
The refs were pretty good and actually used scenario games (Guard the President, hold the fort, capture the flag and the like) and elimination.
The fields were decent, but having multiple fields that were good made them great.
Woodsball, Spools and speedball.
The other players were also friendly.
They provided paper towels to clean gear
Field fee includes unlimited HPA and CO2 refills (Normal for Nebraska)
The Bad:
The woodsball fields had quite a bit of underbrush and some bad lanes of fire, but it's still early in the year and might be cleared out soon, and it's not that bad anyway.
You have to use field paint (they say it's for insurance, but it's still bad). This is new as of 2008.
The "high end paint" is DSX Bronze, great paint that I bought at Camfields all last year for $35 a box, they sell for $60. Also the same company sells Silver and Gold rated paintballs, they opted for the worst of the 3 high grade paints.
This along with a $5 higher field fee than Madcow and selling O-Rings for $1 made me feel like they do a bit of price gouging, but I have seen much worse.
They close at 5pm on Saturdays, most close at dusk or later if they have lights.
Recommendations:
If you live in West Lincoln or one of the western cities where this field is close, I would recommend this field. Also I forgot to ask how much a season pass is so I can't comment on that.
Of all the fields I have played at, I would rate this field as slightly better than middle of the road or 6 out of 10. Better than some fields I have been to but nothing outstanding.
