stengths
------------
-low cost- get to play with a good amount of people for only $5 all day and $10 all day air
-bring own supplies- doesnt cost extra to byop and there is paint air and drinks for sale
-flexable- If people are there he is pretty much open all day. he is open to new ideas and is alway making positive adjustments to the feild like forts, bariers, paths, and extending the boundrys.
weaknesses
------------------
A big one is that there was no set time limit when i was last there. A time limit adds more stratigy and makes people take more dares instead of just sitting in the back hopeing to get a lucky shot. The refs would need to be able to answer if a player askes how much time is left so the player can ajust there game. To often you have one person that just hides in dense brush and doesnt move. It alright if they are moving and its sometimes fun to find the last "sniper" but, if your waiting 20min to find one person that doesnt even take one shot or move an inch, that is rediculous. Also there is sometimes a lack of comunication between the refs and they wind up calling the game early because they dont know how many players each team started with.
There is no tape or marking for all of the boundries. For example, the ditch that is the one side boundry the one end boundry, and the path that is the other side boundry. Are you alound in/on them? Just over them? Just before them? Sometimes when there are new players to the field they are not sure what the boundreis are. There should be some clarification or walking of the feild with them before the games begin.
I belive that the compresed air can only fill up to 2200psi. I use co2 so im not sure. correct me in the comments if i am wrong
The course is only one woods ball course. They are in the proses of expanding it to make it larger. They are in the making of a speedball course(barrels) too.
conclusion
---------------
All in all this field is a great place to play at. every time i go i have alot or fun. Each year it gets better and better. There are a few kinks to work out but that is only minor and easyly fixed. I highly recomed this feild to any recreational players that want a cheap place to go to get in some bigger games then just backyard games with friends. Good place to meet new people in the area that play and even find out people that you know and never knew played paintball. | Last edited on Saturday, July 19th, 2008 at 6:56 am PST |
