Drive along highway 60 until to reach Deerhurst Resort, the field is located at the Deerhurst airstrip on the left side if comming from Huntsville. The sign is small it can be easy to miss. The deerhurst sports sign is what you want to look for when you see this sign turn left.
Review:
This field i great for anyone just getting into paintball or for the seasoned player. There are numerous fields including a small Speed ball field, Karnage hill, Treeland, Sych and Tired Field, Highlands, and Airfield. There is no pro shop but there are a few items available, if there is a problem with your gun the guys will try there best to fix it. The staff are great the rules are explained before you even leave the building safty first, barrlel socks are a must. There are two games a day one at 9.30 and the other at 1.30. It is recommended to call ahead but no worries if you don't. There is a HPA fill station to fill your tanks as well as Co2. The players respect one another just like any other field. Most of the players have never played before,but this year i have noticed alot more owners playing once and a while there can be people who continue to play even after they get hit. If you tell the ref then the proplem is resolved. There is water available when you are playing. There is a Pop machine and a Vending machine. It is $35 for renters, this includes the field time a semi-auto gun, mask, camo hoddie, Co2 and 50 paintballs. For gun owners it is $10 and this includes field time and free fills. Paint is extra. All in all if you want to go and try paintball for the first time or practice you skills this is a great place to go.
