Other Fields in the Area: |
I've played at one other field near Chicago - the fields were not as well designed, although they looked really cool online, and the reffing was terrible. I don't have a lot of experience with many parks, but Firemark wins my vote. |

I've been to Firemark Paintball three times now and it's always a good time. Daniel and his staff are very concerned about the safety of their players, so their masks and guns are in top-notch condition.
They also care about the rules. It might seem a little over the top at first, but once you start playing you realize how critical this is. I played at another park once and had serious issues with our ref missing paint hits, shooting at players himself, giving out enemy positions, and generally just goofing off. None of that at Firemark. It's a straight, fair game every time, so you can work on your skills rather than trying to beat the system.
The main fields are a little smaller than the other park I've been to, but they are much better designed, lots of cover, so it's more fun to try to move around. They also have a full-on woods course in the back that's pretty cool. It has tons of trees and bushes and stuff.
A friend and I liked it so much last year that we shot a video for them that's now posted on their website. Check it out if you get a chance. |
