OA Bowie- Decent woodsball, but honestly I don't like the hyperball fields..I play mostly airball/hyperball though..Good place for practice..FPO but it's cheap..They stink-literally.
Route 40-Never been but I heard it's alright. |

Directions to the Field: |
Near Mayberry road or sumthin like that. Not recommended for first time drivers with big SUV's. Roads are a bit tight, and theres a little bridge you cross over before entering and exit the park. |

In a nutshell, this park is great! They have nice airball fields([2-3} 3-5 man fields and [2] 7 man fields.), and I think 2 Villages. Really good competition(honestly, I got my faced mowed lol.)
Safety:
Good, but I've seen better. Sometimes there would players w/ out their masks on. 3 out 5 people would go with their masks on unnoticed.
Fields:
I didn't play on the Village/Urban fields, but they looked pretty decent. The airball was great. The bunkers of the 3 man fields were a bit dirty, but they blew the ground with leaf blowers after every 3-5 games to keep people from slipping. The 7 man fields are awesome- much better than the smaller fields.
Hours of OP:
11AM to 5PM. Nice
Prices:
Great. Entry/All day air-$15
Paint-Ranges from $35-$50 per case. $7 for 500 mixed paintballs. The first case my friend bought was a little oily, but they gladly exchanged it for him. They carry brands like DXS, XO, RPS etc.
Rules:
No bunkering, Semi-Auto only and masks on where barrel socks aren't on. However, my buddy knew one of the refs and he allowed us to used ramping and bunkering.
Services:
3 self fill stations up to 4.5k and 1 3k self fill station.
Proshop:
They sell paint and small repair parks i.e. o-rings etc. They also have a small snack shop where you can buy chips and drinks
Staff:
Cool people, but there was one ref off duty who came to play walk ons and was messing around with the n00bs lol. Good refs though.
Players:
Mostly experienced. Great competition as said before. We had a 2 vs 2 on the 3 man field and I got my face mowed lol.
Facilities:
2 Porta-Potties near the back of the parking lots. Pretty clean though.
Food:
Snacks, drinks and last time, they served shaved Italian. Ice. It was nice.
Try out PAP a.k.a. Taneytown. It's a really nice field over all and it's a good place to have a good time. Thanks |
