Review:
This place is a joke. We were going to sign up for a tournament that costs 300 dollars here. It was a dump speed ball field. The field was on a slant. When you enter the field they don't even have a sign. There are stones that have the word, "paintball" sprayed on them. The dirt road to get to the field is filled with ditches and huge pot holes. Not to mention it is $90 a case (you must buy) for paint. We left and took an hour ride over to fox.
Cliffs:
- Trashy field that is on a slant
- Dirt road that can easily give you a flat
- 90 a case for garbage paint
- You have to pay for air
- Not well maintained
My advice for taking the dirt road is to drive slow, I've ridden in plenty of sedans getting there without any problem. Just take it nice and slow and there shouldn't be any problems. Or just get a truck, that's another good option.
Also, the playing fields themselves aren't horribly slanted at all. Once you walk up the hill to where you actually play the terrain levels out.
Dispute: There is a sign on the road clearly marking the entrance, regardless of any stones.
Not sure who would consider premium paintball garbage paint.
Air is included in the entry for both open and team practice.
the "SupAir" Field is at a small slant in one of the rear corners, but it has never affected play on the field. IF you had played it would have been obvious.
Too Bad someone didn't read the information for the Tourney because last year the three hundred include entry for three tournaments and team practice for the sundays inbetween the first event thru to the last. Not sure what that comes out to per sunday, but sounds like a value.
What defines a Trashy field. please elaborate if you wish to be informative.
Not well maintained? poor air fills. ???? trash on the ground??? paint boxes lying on the ground??? Nothing to drink or eat??? No area (covered or uncovered) to stage??? A ref not in the staging area to keep an eye on your gear??? What exactly does Trashy field mean?
Unfortuantely the road in was alittle to be desired. but prone to flat tires? Guess if you drove excessively its possible. Fortunately for you the owners of the field were able to convenice the land owners to improve the driveway.
Lastly, and I will assume that your speaking about Open or Private games.....Paint prices, 90.00 is very reasonable for a field grade paint using the Premium line. Breaks on the players and not in your gun, a major plus, can't tag an opponent if the paint doesn't leave your barrel.
But I will even give you the benefit of the doubt. lets just say you did not hear Team practice is actually 50.00 a case for practice paint, whcih last year was Nightmare or complarible grade. And entrance to the tourney comp'd you entry and free air.
on a side note I will say each time a practice was scheduled they actually had the Xball ball field up by start time....no extra cost. And plenty of teams playin. No fighting for five minutes. Play til you dropped, ran out of paint, or Air. Not sitting in the sun baking cookies waiting for your turn.
Bottom line not sure who told you the wrong information, but you did.....and obviously it was wrong. So don't hate, mistakes happen. This one is pretty easy to fix.
I hope you realise this and give them a try again or if nothing else you should stop in at their store in Dundee and get the right information.
Best of luck
