Cheyenne D S Wednesday, July 16th, 2008 Period of Field Use: Just once Date There: June 29th, 2008 Paintball Experience: 1 year Other Fields in the Area: Our first Iowa game. I'm on an Illinois team Directions to the Field: GoogleMaps and GPS Review: Our team, DOG SOLDIERS attended Remagen Bridge. The attendance was down, floods and tornados had recently played havoc with the area. We expected a couple of hundred, but due to the weather there were maybe 70 or so in attendance So our first thoughts were not too good But much to our surprise the day just kept getting better and better The field, with the hip high grass and crazy deep creek and heavily guarded bridges made for outstanding paintball. The refs were many, and were of high quality The paint was good and not too pricey (my marker won't shoot crap paint, it shot this paint well) There was some crazy version of a sloppy joe being sold that was simply outstanding, + all foods and drinks were priced for the family budget The owner was active , involved and outwardly friendly And the DOG SOLDIERS had a huge role in securing the many flag stations that gave the Germans a come from behind last minute (literally) VICTORY !
