Kurtis is the owner and is a great guy. He will definitely try to guarantee a good time.
First off phone ahead of time that there will be someone there and if they have players scheduled. I went with a group of 5 and there were 4 others who played with us who were regulars there but had it just been myself without my group I think it could have been kinda boring. Usually I play at Bushwackers in Vernon or on my own two outlaw fields with larger groups.
Gopher Hill has a very cool pallet maze. It is close quarters combat in very tight corridors. My 10 yr old was way better suited at it than myself being that he could crouch under obstacles rather than crawl under like myself. They also had a type of speedball course with barrels and tires that I liked. He has just purchased a 3 man (per team)speedball kit which he will be setting up asap.
Other than those two there is a trench and hold the fort type scenario that is not the best as it is too wide open and in contrast there is a large field with dense bush and thick undergrowth which forces you to stay to the game trails to fight and if you don't have a homefield advantage of knowing the trails you are dead.
The price for low grade balls was $120.00 a case (ouch) but he gave us free compressed air all day with no admission charge so that was nice.
