North Mountain, Soggie Bottom, Warplay, PEVS - All good fields - All have pros-cons
Review:
Played a Big Game yesterday at Skyline Paintball in Strasburg, "The Whiskey Militia" and had one of the most awesome-est (is that a word) times I can remeber . I've played other fields and generaly try to hit as many big games and scenarios in the area as I can when I get the chance and when I have the money but a few things keep me coming back to Skyline Paintball. Besides the friendly staff and incredible fields they have, they are still one of the only fields I know of that dont charge any registration fee's for their woodsball Big Games... WOW!. With the economy what it is these days, Skyline still makes it easy for you to go out and enjoy a day of paintball, whether its walk-on or playing in any of their woodsball Big Games. To be honest, I dont think thier prices for walk-on or Big Games has ever changed. $10 field fee if you bring your own paint and I think $10 all day air, or something like $2 per Nitro fill. I think all thier Big Games are field-paint only and thats great because they always have fresh paint from REC to Tourney grade. They are a full service field and shop. For anyone that hasnt played Skyline, give a try, you wont be dissapointed... Here are their fields...
((( A huge Town field (the best Ive seen with two story buildings), Rocket field equipped with a huge 20-30 ft. rocket you can get inside with a 2 story platform and plenty of bunkers, A new Cave field (dont know what its called) An awesome Castle with 2 stories and a catwalk, Frontier Fort field, a big field with brand new "Big" space ships called Mars Attacks (use to be the Helicopter field) a medium sized Boulder field with huge rocks and trees, a tournament SpeedBall field with regulation Pro Turf (very nice even though I dont play speedball), a Speedball style barrels field and another huge field accross the road, not sure what its called but hear peolple say its the "STAG" field (their hometown scenario team) where they run woodsball scenario games similar to the SPPL)))
The only CONS I can think of about this place, is well, its in the mountains in Shen. Valley so the weather is always unpredictable. Bring a pop-up tent if you want.
