i also play at v-town paintball. both fields are great! it has pretty much been speedball at DO on saturdays and woodsball/speedball at v-town on sundays. I have had the chance to meet a lot of players at each field and have no complaints.
Directions to the Field:
right of 201, cant miss it! (look for the army sign)
Review:
Well for starters safety is huge here as you can tell from a manditory speal before each game day. Mike (0wner) will cover basic rules to follow to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. barrell plugs are always on, masks always on inside netted area, so dont worry about them stray balls!
Secondly is the fields. 3 compact speedball fields that offer a varietly of game play. for example the wooded bunkers on a nice grassy surface, perfect for the pro sliding into bunkers. secondly is the air field, (gets most action). This field offers a variety of bunkers from tombstones, snakes, doritos and a really tough wheel at the 50 mark. Dont go there! haha The newest field satisfies the 1 v 1 or 2 v2 type of games. really compact and full of deadly angles sure to end the game in a hurry.
Another thing i will comment on is the people you deal with when u go to DO. Such nice people! The whole family seems like they are there to please you. I remember days when there wasnt enough players so mike made some calls and before you knew it he was out there playing along with his sons and a bunch of their friends. they just seem to always save the day!
Finallly, i will comment on prices. Very reasonable. 10 bux for 500 balls and the owner, mike, never buys junk balls. He spends a little more to ensure a good ball for the players. All day air for 10 bux......can u beat that? Pro shop offers more than you see at first glance. They sell jerseys, masks, body kits for guns, do-rags (did i spell that right?) anyway, ask and you shall recieve. Mike would prob order you something straight out of his suppliers. hes cool like that.
