First look of the field....the netting looks brand new, no holes. It currently has 29 wood bunkers which are actually very nice. Ken may be getting a 32 piece xball field next year if field attendance is good. The grass on the field is nice and thick, mowed and maintained well. Looks like the rough on a golf course. No hard dirt spots on this field, not bad for diving/sliding. There is a nice staging area with a tent and picnic tables. The safety at the field is #1. Enforcement of having a barrel cover on when stepping off the field is great. FPS limit is 285 which is ideal for an outdoor rec field. The field fee is $10 which is a fair price. Air fills are $3 and they currently fill to 3k. They are open on fridays 4 till dark saturdays and sundays 2 til dark. The staff is extremely friendly and can help you with gun repairs if needed. They have pop and water available also. The paint is $50 case for some kind of draxxus rec/field paint. The paint is good enough quality for rec but I feel like this is slightly high for this grade of paint. This is because it costs them extra to have FPO (field paint only) on each and every paintball. Maybe they can get around putting the FPO on the balls and just check to make sure people are using field paint and it is safe. Then maybe they could lower the price a bit. It is always nice to see fields let you bring your own paint but this being a newer field, it is not allowed yet. I would definately reccomend going and trying this field out, you will have a great time.| Last edited on Thursday, September 11th, 2008 at 8:44 am PST |
