Skinny Joes- Best part of field is the parking lot.
DBS - Good people and attitudes. But indoor is a little slimy, but the ten foot slides ROCK!
Semper Fi- I like Carl's no BS attitude. Keeps the trouble makers at bay.
Review:
Went and played paintball for the first time in almost a year at MDPB's new field. They have been opened for a couple of months and the field looks and plays great. Burt and his wife Lane run the field and know what they are doing. All safety concerns are addressed and all play on the field is watched over by experienced refs.
With a castle mid field and many,many bunkers and trees, the play is fast and furious. Had a great time playing with a fine group of walk-ons and a bachelor party that consisted of some seasoned players. It was a blast and the weather was perfect. Very nice to be in the saddle again. Looking forward to playing this field many more times in the future. Thanks Burt and Lane for the great time. Highly recommend trying this field out for first timers and veterans alike. I thought the field was ran by people who did not understand how the game of paintball was ran. The owner did not even know how to run a game of capture the flag. Eventually the owner ended up assaulting a member of the group I was in and was very thereatning. My suggestions would be that the owner take some classes on how to deal with people and maybe a class on how to run a business because he is far from qualified. If it was not for members of his staff he would be lost.
I posted a comment about this field and because Mad Dawg felt that it was not good for their business, it was TRUE, but not good for them, they felt they needed to take action to have that post removed.
The fact of the matter is, Burt the owner was violent, threating, rude, and very much out of line. My experience there was so bad that I have since taken action in filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Mister, I really don't know you, but if I had to guess, I would say that you have more than just issues with Burt. I have known the man for over 5 years and he is one of the coolest individuals it has been my pleasure to meet. If he came down hard on you and your friends, it must have been for a good reason. Guess we'll never know since your the only one talking. Can't wait to meet you out on a field. Would like to meet and play with someone that is so knowledgeable at the game of paintball. Maybe could show me a move or something.
