THIS FEILD BLOWS! it is noob central. the only ppl that play here are little kids and teens with down syndrom. the feild is ran buy some guy that has no idea what he is doing, along with his wife that is rude and mean. The games are ran by his son. this kid has never played paintball in his entire life and he is some how a ref. he couldnt tell a hit from splatter if it hit him in the face. he seemed to be makeing up the rules as he went. i could have reffed the game better in my sleep. THERE IS NO SAFTY!! kids running around, guns with no plugs or socks, guns laying around everywhere, the chrono area is right where u pick up your marker, no mask during the chrono, the chrono didnt even work, no netter areas, someone was taking a pop bottle and throwing it up into the air and trying to shoot it with a marker right by the staging area!!! the feild is a dump, the feild is a mixture of gravel, rocks, holes, golf balls, bigger rocks, plants, and concrete slabs. no nets between feilds, not enough bunkers on one feild. this was a complete fail to create a paintball buisness. this feild will most likely be sued due to a accident caused by lack of safty. Winstead Outdoors, a place to get your eye shot out!!!!!!!
Dispute: i do not belive this review is accurate at all. i have been to the winstead outdoors paintball many times and each time thay have had barrel socks or plugs. their fields are not turf but they are natural and they have built their field away from anything dangerous. the refs have always made sure that masks are on at all times until everyone has a plug or sock on their gun. their refs may not be the best at checking paint but they always keep the games as safe as possible. winstead outdoors also is not their for a professional paintball field they are their to get people introduced to the sport and to keep it growing. they are very nice people and everyone there i have met has always had a good time and they dont complain about getting shot up by some guy with an ego or shooting ne high end gun. and yes granted most of their customers are kids they have fun and they are getting introduced to the sport.

im not an employee but i have talked to the owner, and once again you guys make stuff up the "staging area" is on top of the HILL, so there is no way he could of been shot. and i also know that winstead outdoors are very strict on rules and have kicked people off their field for breaking the rules. they also recite the rules over and over again before a game. also winstead outdoors has a limited number of playdates anyway, they are mainly portable, and no one has ever ran off their field, ive been to every single playdate because they are the only place i can be introduced into paintball and not just thrown into it with people that have no life and wastes 4 digits on a gun. also incidents happen all the time i have seen a person get shot outside the field at the NPPL in the eye in 2007. nothing ever is perfect and unless your jesus i dont think you are either.
