Review: Well i have played at this place a few times. When i arrived at giant i noticed it was very small w/e...i wasn't expecting giant fields in the size of the Orange County speedway. The parking lot is small but never is full because this place really never gets too crowded.

The park this year is very clean. There are always at least 2 employees sweeping the park at all times. the bathrooms are always clean and they are never broken. The vending machines are broken or were broken when i went but are not owned by giant paintball. so don't go complain to them. they wont do anything about it eating your money.

Speedball. This year it is a mega arena. it is completely worthless and i dont think its even worth putting up. its smells awful with the mud, and is really small. the arena is placed on like half concrete and half dirt so don't try to slide you will tear your knees up. the bunkers are blown up tanks and like blow up people like you would see at football practice with the o so mighty left 50 cannon. lol its bad.

Rec ball. The recball field is run length wise down the whole field. it is run as 1 field this year and not split in two. the mud makes it difficult but you really get to get down and dirty which is half the fun of paintball. They took out the old cars from last year as some of you might know and put in Styrofoam rocks instead. they work alright.

If you are looking for some place with big fields with cow poo everywhere and smells like someones butt hole, don't go here. this park is a very small close knit place that is kept very clean all day. (for a paintball park of course)

The Employees. They try to help as much as possible and if you have any questions they will help you out with whatever you need. but if you just go up to them and ask them to fix your gun, there not going to do it.(being that the gun you are asking them to fix isn't a rental, they will give you a new gun or fix yours on the spot) that's what gun manuals and bringing tools to the field are for. Also if they break your gun they are held liable, at least that is what they told me. A few of the refs are very knowledgeable of the sport and a few are complete morons and probably have never paint balled in there entire lives. Safety is the main thing they press on to everyone. "keep your mask down at all times while you are on the field" i cant tell you how many times i heard the ref say that, still, moron little kids will pick up there mask during the game or as they are getting shot at and just ask for a shot straight to the eye. The ref will either just boot you off of the game as kind of a warning. if you lift up your mask again you watch the safety video again. If you do it after that you will be kicked out and your wristband pulled for the rest of the day.

The paint. You buy the cheapy cheap crap paint. they are going to give you cheapy cheap crap paint. easy as that. its not really the paint that makes the balls shoot straight. its paintball to barrel bore sizing. Don't go up to the ref and say, "hey my paint balls aren't shooting straight." hes going to say, "cool" there's nothing he can do about it. what do you want him to do magically make your paint shoot straight? learn to go up and shoot people point blank (they do no advise this though, surrender is always an option)

The players. Mostly beginners, a few scenario wannabe marines and a few speedballers who are under 16 and are sponsored by mom n dad that act real cocky around the beginner players like it is an actual accomplishment to shoot noobs.

Food. Go to the swap meet, its there every weekend and they usually have some cheap good food.

Rules. They are said every game and get repetitive. but if all the players would listen to the rules and not have the attention span of a monkey, they maybe wouldn't have to do this.

Safety. as for being safe that is really up to you. if you don't want to have your barrel plug in when you walk off the field and you accidentally shoot someone in the eye, blinding them. that's your problem. The refs re iterate the rules of safety every game and constantly remind the players of the safety rules on and off the field. people just think they are above the rules and can do whatever they want. I'm going to laugh at them when they go blind from a shot to the eye.

Hours of operation. The hours of operation are Friday 4-8 (not sure about Friday..sry) Saturday 10am-8pm Sunday 10am-6pm

In conclusion i think this field is very good for the beginner paintball player. It is also great for a private group, birthday party, or a business outing or whatever. The ref will basically do everything for you (carry your paint, help your kids out, pick up all of your trash, keep your area clean, as well as ref all of your games for the day and keep you and your group safe) I would not recommend this park to the avid speedball tournament player who actually knows what they are doing. stick to the compound or hsp if you really want to paintball in the ghetto.

I am rating this field a 7 because of its location, the weather is usually nice, staff and fellow paintballers are nice, and they keep the park very clean all day which is a nice change of pace from SC or jungle island and HSP.
