Hollywood Sports Park. It does not compare to SC Village. SC Village is well organized and the staff is friendly, personable and helpful.

Review:
I deciced to check this field out the day after Christmas because entry was only 15.00. I do admit that on any other day it is a little pricy, 25 for a full day.
Location - Easy to find. Not that bad a drive from the O.C.
Facility - The buildings are a little rustic, pro shop was a little small, not that much of a selection. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned, luckily I only had to go #1 and wash my hands. You can check in at the proshop or there is another check in station about 40 yards away. There is a chrono station where they seemed to do a pretty good job about getting everyone checked out and on their way. There were some lockers available but I just worked out of the back of my car as did everyone else, reminded me of a big paintball tailgate party. Most of the fields surround the parking lot so that's why it made sense to just use my car. If you want to have lunch you can bring a cooler drive back down the road for a couple of miles for a burger or eat off of the snack wagon. I chose the snack wagon and bought 6 hotdogs and 3 cans of coke for 12 bucks. Don't worry I didn't eat them all myself.
Staff - The staff was great. The people in the proshop knew what they were doing and got everyone in and out in a timely manner. The refill stations were on the ball too, I was using CO2 but I took notice of the other stations too. Great Job. The guys at the chrono station were moving people along like I had mentioned before. The refs were friendly and although working with newbies can be a little frustrating they were tolerant and did give out warnings rather than just kicking you off the field if you broke a rule.(Like when they say barrel plugs off but hold your fire but you let off a burst anyway. Sorry, my bad). The intercom was very clear on when and where the next games were going to be held, they called 7 minutes to game, 5 minutes to game, 1 minute to game so if you are late then it's your own damn fault and I don't blame the ref for not letting you in.
Play - Let's see. I got there when it opened at 10 and left at 4. I played about 8 elimiation games and we took a 30 minute lunch. I didn't get a chance to time the games (too busy shooting newbies) so I couldn't tell you how long each of them were but they did last a while in comparison to the ones I played at Hollywood sports. We rotated around various fields which was nice. I didn't play any speedball but the fields looked cool. I brought my own paint, which is always a plus. No red paint is allowed.
Equipment -I didn't rent anything but if you want to rent a marker they have tippman 98 or you can pay extra and upgrade to an electronic Vibe.
Refill on Tanks- I was going to pay for all day refill but I thought I would play it by ear. I only had to refill my 16oz CO2 once. I showed up with a full tank and I only had to refill it once. Low pressure markers are awesome.
Room for Improvement - Clean up the restroom because next time I might have to go #2 and the cost is kinda high if you don't come on a special event day. That is the only reason I did not give it a 10.
Summary - I give these guys a 9 to 9.5. These guys did a great job. My two sons ages 15 and 13 and I had a blast. This is a great field from a friendly staff to friendly patrons.
Great Job SC Village, I will see you again real soon.
