Warped is a surprisingly clean park that runs a fairly tight ship. Velocity is strictly enforced at 280 fps and no higher. They're not Nazis about air refills, though - they don't tag your tank, and the refill station is self serve. Ref was safety conscious, friendly and helpful. He did seem to take more time than was necessary in between games, though. The 5 fields themselves are set up quite nicely and were all very playable. Woodsball field has sufficient amount of brush to take cover. Speedball field is great and the best I've ever played, I think. The bunkers are actually all solid foam underneath instead of being half deflated airbags, and the ground was covered in astro-turf matting. Playing "Defend the Castle" on the Hamburger Hill field was particularly interesting. Park had enough players, but was not overly crowded. By the way, their admission prices are $5 cheaper than CPP. |
