I've played at least 2 others in the area- don't know the name of them.

Review:
Joe the ref made the whole experience; for me. Very knowledgeable guy, about paintball in general, and the fields specifically. He made sure the matches kept moving, as there tends to be a lot of standing around talking about the match afterwards. We would grab enough paint for 3 or 4 games and hit the fields.
safety- I felt very safe- the call went out after the match to put safetys on and barrel plugs in before the masks could come off. Bubba kept taking his mask off before Joe said it was clear, and he finally got yelled at about it. Safety first.
Prices were as expected- If you're smart like I am; you can play a whole day on 1/2 case of paint. I chose this method at first out of cheapness, and it's made me a better player. Anyway, you can play a day on $40. what more can you ask for. We played at least 10 matches; and I have over 200 rounds left ( our team won every match).
There are so many good fields- we didn't even get to all of them. Who can beat 6 3-story buildings to play in? The junkyard and silverado city are AWESOME!!!!
No proshop- I have my own equipment; so it doesn't matter. They have everything you would need to play- air,o-rings,paint,etc.
Vaughn owns the field- He is a great guy, really makes you feel welcome. I can't wait to play here again-we drove 3 hours from Greensboro, NC area and played in the pouring-down rain.
So far, all the negative comments about this place have been from people not commited enough to the sport to buy their own equipment. A rental weapon is for 1 time use only, and before I played MY first game, I had my own gun. I have NEVER used a rental- how can you expect to have a decent experience when you weren't the one to clean or upgrade you weapon? I don't get it. I highly recommend this place to woodsball lovers who are commited to "marking" folks out of the game for a win.
