My grandson came to visit and wanted to play painball. We visited Rocky Creek since it was close to our home.
Jim and his staff were very friendly, knowledgable, as well as thorough and diligent regarding the explanation of safety rules as well as enforcing them through all the games. They always emphasized masks on the playing fields at all times and the use of gun plugs every time you came off the field. The Refs did a good job of calling the game when people were hit. Jim ran a very efficient operation. We did not have to wait long from game to game. They have several fields, and had several different games on different fields.
The fields were nice, in good condition, with no dangerous elements that we saw.
The prices were very reasonable. We brought our own equipment, and the field charge was very reasonable. We got "All day Air," which was also a reasonable deal. The cost for 2000 painballs was comparable to what we see at other fields in Virginia where my grandson plays.
My grandson's comments are:
The people you meet there are very nice. They have very good fields. The fields have a lot of cover.
There were two different birthday party groups on the fields this day. It seemed like a great venue for that for teenaged kids. The other players were a combination of fairly experienced players and new players. They were friendly. A very good atmosphere.
I would highly recommend Rocky Creek. We look forward to going back soon. |
