I was in with a group of about ten friends and the day was fun. It's woodsball only, but the fields are set up well and talking to one of the regulars there it looks like they've been adding stuff constantly.
Fields: there are two fields right now. The staff said that they are looking to add speedball fields but for now are just keeping it woodsball. The first field is kinda shaped like an L, and half of the field looks like half of a bowl almost, the sides are pretty high. We played a couple of games where one team has to defend the flag, then capture the flag, and a game with a football where you had to “drop the bomb” by the other team’s fort.
The second field is much bigger and more of a circle. There's a good amount of cover throughout, and most of the bunkers give you good cover and a good view of the field. There's one fort made of bales of hay that was really fun to use. In one game there's a flag in the middle of the field on a pulley, and the first team to raise the flag wins. We finished out by playing a couple games that combined both fields.
Refs: the refs were friendly and knew what they were doing. I've been to other places where it was almost like the refs were constantly yelling/rude at players, and that was definitely not the case here. Ryan and Jeff were great and really helped out with whatever we needed.
Shop: the place is pretty new so all of their gear (most people were renting) was in great shape, and the staff really helped the people who had never done it before with their gear. Prices were reasonable, cases were $60 and it was good quality paint (last time I played was in randolph where it was $80 a case!). Tippman 98 Custom for rentals.
Overall: It was a fun day. The staff and refs are really nice and want to make sure you have a great time there. Recommend it for anyone looking to play woodsball!
