Review: SUMMARY of what I'll be saying:
-The STAFF was awesome! They have mostly hyperball and woodsball fields of varying sizes, all well balanced on both sides. Good rentals w/ hpa tanks. Cheap admission. I strongly recommend this field! If you're looking for hyperball/woodsball, this field is a 10/10

PAINTBALLERS WHO SHOULD COME:
-You should definately visit this park if you're: into woodsball/hyperball
-You should stay away from this field if you're looking primarily for: speedball

PAINTBALLERS WHO WERE THERE:
-the guys I spoke with were very nice. Some came up to us after the game to talk about what went down on the field and talk over the situations.
-I asked one guy about his mask lens and him and his buddy were very nice and willing to help out with some information
-one guy in the deadbox helped us out and went over all the bunker terms with us to help us out
-overall: the paintballers there were very nice and helpful, which makes for a very fun time!
-families welcome, good mix of player ages (young, teenage, and adult), saw many father/son combos out there as well.

STAFF:
-Outstanding!!!
-first let me say that there are two major things that will keep me away from a field, staff and the quality of the fields themselves. If the fields suck or the staff is negative I'll avoid the place. So the staff was under my watchful eyes, and they passed the test, they were awesome!
-I called the field on a Thur. to find out if they rent HPA tanks separately and the owner (I think) called me back the next day to confirm that they do. He also said that my group is more than welcome to hang out after most people leave and use their fields to play w/o refs if we want. His offer extended until 4:30 or even 5:00pm! He offered this without me saying anything, which was cool.
-The owner was constantly strolling the waiting area talking to the paintballers and checking to make sure everyone was having a good time. He always had a smile on his face and was extremely positive. He said he's really big into making sure his staff is nice and helpful. According to him, he really wanted to lose that negative connotation that Paintball Sams (this field use to be "Paintball Sams", different ownership) had. I guess their guys were always pissy and rude. Mission accomplished, the staff at Infinate Edge was outstanding!

REFS:
-these were teenage kids, about 17 y/o I'd estimate.
-cool, focused on safety and fair play (which is their job!)
-fair
-gave at least 2 pre-game speeches about the importance of keeping your mask on at all times
-very strict on masks and barrel sleeves being used properly and worn when required
-threatened to send people to the waiting area and being forced to skip games if they removed their mask, even for a second to clean their goggles or sneeze or whatever... (to my knowledge no one was sent off). They did this b/c some people weren't respecting the rules, which is understandable.
-did a good job of dividing the teams as evenly as possible, and tried to keep groups together. Our group had 5 people in it and we never got split up.

SAFETY:
-as said above, the staff was very focused on player safety, which included masks and barrel sleeves.
-I overheard the staff telling people many times to put their barrel plugs on while in the waiting area, so they WERE watching and paying close attention.
-CHRONO: Our group got there about 9:30am and there was no formal chrono going on before you walked on a game. People chron'd themselves and I can't complain about the balls I was hit with. Some left some good welts but that's paintball, none broke the skin, and I was wearing VERY thin clothing, thin shorts and jersey with nothing underneath. I guess the chrono is pretty much "honor system": Take care to be as close to 250 as possible and let's take care of each other out there.

RENTALS:
-I can't speak for their performance b/c I didn't rent.
-info on their website, but their package is $40
-I know they can rent equipment out separately b/c all I needed was an HPA tank, which they rented to me for $15, including all day fills.
-all day fills for HPA/CO2 $10

FIELD PAINT:
-they sell 2000 for $40
-my brother bought them and he only had one break all day!

FIELDS:
-Ready for hills??? Hope so. All the courses are on hills, except for the lego field. This could be good or bad, depending on your cardio. I will say this, any course can be exhausting or comfortable, depending on your activity...
-they had, to my knowledge: 1 hyperball, 1 woodsball, 1 village, 1 legofield, I think they had one speedball (I was too exhausted by the time they called out to play, so I'm not sure, they didn't call for walk-ons for speedball until around 3pm).
-good mix of courses and layouts. They had a little bit of everything, which I like.
-sides of the courses were well balanced.

IN BETWEEN GAMES (legofield):
-if you feel like it, they had an awesome lego field, which is set on level ground, right next to the waiting area. Just let the staff know you're bringing a group in the field and you can set up your own game whenever you want!! No refs necessary. We got to the park a tad late for the first game so our group played a little 3 vs. 2 game and it was awesome! It's a small course, about the size of a speedball course, maybe a tad bigger, with tons of bunkers, very fun for a quick game! and it's super close to the waiting area so you can run a pick up game on the fly, while you're waiting for them to call for walk-ons.
