Review: I made my first and ONLY visit to on target this past Sunday. All and all you get what you pay for at this paintball field. The air smith and people working the counter area are helpful and polite, its too bad their reff staff cannot be at the same level of professionalism and helpfulness. The field is WAY understaffed in the reffing department and the reffs are extremely lazy and rude. (although there was one extremely helpful and worthwhile reff which I did not catch his name) The walk on group size was a laughable joke compared to the size of each field. 25 on 25 is great on a field that can support that many players, though NONE of their fields can support that group size. The games were chaotic, Reffs do not care to come and do paint checks when called for. They'd rather hang on the sidelines and talk to each other. One of my teammates was attacked within 8ft by three opposing players and shot WAY too many times with a reff standing right in front of it who did not do a damn thing to stop it. This one reff in particular was extremely hot headed, laughable "tuffguyesque", unprofessional, and rude as all hell and I quote him: "are you trying to be a smart a**?" when I asked him why he would not move when I called for paint checks. Extremely lazy and not worth the money i paid for. He should consider a different job.
All and all I'd say this place would only be good for private games. walk ons are a waste of money. I'd give the reff staff a 0 and the rest of the staff a 10. its a shame that they are losing my future business souly due to one smart a** reffs unprofessional actions. I can't see myself returning to this field. Try cousins, skirmish, or top gun who's reffing staff are absolutely phenomenal!

Dispute:
I would have to disagree with your comments regarding OTP's ref staff. A lot of refs throughout the nation come off as having a "tuffguyesque" due to the fact they have to be in control of situations when players are getting rowdy. If you are commenting on the last game that was played that day, as i was playing there sunday as well, then light should be shed on your comment regarding your team mates. As she was approached by the oncoming team, they asked her to surrender, after she shot at one of them(probably not seeing the other players) they shot at her. She was not a victim of over shot, especially since she was heavily concealed by the fort she was in. Also i witnessed all three refs running throughout the field, being shot in the process to check players paint check calls. I do not understand your view of the ref staff. I would agree that there are things that could be improved on, as with any operation, but the refs did a great job for the circumstances given. They were trying to keep the other players quiet and ready as a group started yelling at one of the refs. Also if you were there all day you would have seen all three refs constantly moving through the field helping people out, even when the players did not care about their own safety. I do hope you that do not hold this one disagreement against the field since many of us are return players who have had a great time playing there. Your input could benefit the field and other players time if you help notify a problem and give constructive input.
One last note, if you are the player with the female getting bunkered in the last game, please remind her of the importance on keeping goggles on until in a safe zone no matter what happens.

Im sorry but i think this post is just someone that didnt get there way and is mad! ive been playing at OTP for 5 years and yes they have some problems but nothing like what i just read about.the reffing squad and the staff there are very professional and saftey minded.
i was there this sat and sun and remember the game they are talking about the person in the fort was give a opportunity to give up but chose to play on and the reason the ref didn't go to the other side of the field when someone called for a paint check is the safety of the player in the fort that was about to get light up by the attacking force to make sure the battle didn't go to far and yes the ref told use to stop firing after the player was hit and yes the groups where a little big for some fields but that makes for better play in my opinion. i think maybe this person should come back and talk to the field owner about there bad day of playing after all hes there every day and is a great guy and funny too.don't let one bad day ruin it for you. and by the way Ive played the other fields in that posting they are buy far nowhere near as good as the people and fields at OTP thats in my opinion! I RECOMMEND THIS FIELD TO EVERYONE I KNOW!

i"m the refs that was there n what u r saying is not true but i"m going to get fired because you wrote this. Wat you said is not true i know what happen see what happen was the lady that was i the box said she was letting the dead people walk off the field n the other team said surrender n she decided to open fire on the team n they shot her n i called the game after she got shot. Then she took her mask off n throw it on the field n for the safety of her n everyone else i told her to put it back on now o now to remind you she did it before that to n one of the refs told her to keep it on again but yet the refs r lazy n don"t do our job. look there was three refs there n the fields r very big sorry we can"t cover the whole field we were attending other paint checks. then all of you guys want to jump down my throat n tell me to do my job i don"t think so. And to top it all of you guys came out to play paintball and there was two little kids there n the girl that was there was using very inappropriate language.first of all like i said us refs are assigned to different areas in the field and you were all the way on the one side of the field n called for one on the other side of the field. well i"m going to end it like this i know what i did n the other refs know what happened n that is that you three were the only ones complaining. First of all cause you three people don"t try to put this on the refs and why don"t you look at your self and at how you guys acted toured the refs don"t try stop others from coming we have a lot of loved one that come to our field n love playing there.

As I stated in my review this field would have been great if it werent for the stated reffs unprofessional actions. I NEVER saw this reff move ONCE durring play. I never saw him do a single paint check. I was with a group of six friends who ALL had complaints about him. His comment about bad language is a joke considering the quote i have posted. He really should find a different job. If you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen.
My day was great untill he joined our walkon group as a reff.
