Empire Road most of the way down, take a left on Beach Road, then it will be on your right. Follow the signs.
Review:
The information from the post before me is still good including prices and such, I will just add points and things I know as a regular on the field.
Safety: They are big on safety here. They give you a pep-talk before you are allowed to play on the rules of the field, and will make you sit a game, or boot you if you're not following them.
Fields: They now have 3 fields and are still expanding. You have to remember that Sherkston Paintball only opened up last spring.
They started off with the one elimination field. This is still their main and favorite field to play on. It has many wood-stacked bunkers, some fallen trees, one two story building in the middle, and 4 more spread around the field.
Late last summer they opened up their attack and defend field. This field consists of a large wooden building with a pillbox, tower, and many windows. The other team starts outside and pushes in with many fallen tree, wood bunkers, a car, an old pop-up camper, and more. T
hey JUST opened up their newest field. This field is more grassy, with barrel bunkers and many places to stay low and sneak around.
They are working on finishing up the new field, and are also working on another field behind the attack and defend. The fields work seamlessly when they drop the ropes for bigger games. These happen often since Sherkston Paintball is inside Sherkston Beach Resort, which means there are many people that play in the summer.
Staff: The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you have any questions what so ever, don't hesitate to ask.
Players: This field mainly hosts beginners to intermediate players ages 11-20. HOWEVER, there is a very diverse crowd that comes through Sherkston Shores. On any given day in the summer (mainly weekends), you could be playing with a group of older men on a day out, some actual good players that made the trip, speedballers, a tactical paintball team practicing, or a bunch of teens. Sherkston is a new field so it is still catching on with popularity. But it really is catching on fast! The word is getting out and Sherkston Paintball is getting more and more competition every weekend.
Conclusion: If you're in the area, and you like paintball, you have to check this field out. It's growing fast. It's a very family friendly environment and everyone always has a good time.
