None in the area, but many on the east coast such as hogback mountain pb in Leesburg, Va or OA Paintball in Bowie, MD
Directions to the Field:
Drive to the bowling alley on base, park, get out of the car, right there. Not a real facility, however on weekends you can't miss it.
Review:
Good field. It was set up by a bunch of sailors who do all the work on the field and sacrafice time to ref and keep it in good shape. There is no proshop. It doesn't have a a big, seperate piece of land, but there is some space used for a speedball field and a pretty good woodsball field-actually best i've ever been on. It's not big, but set up perfectly. They play fun games there and since it's not a huge field there's a nice small, family feeling to it. Once you play a few times, you are part of the family. The best games are president, where you have a few terrorists hiding in the woodsball field and you have to escort the president throught the field and back out the way you came in, and attack/defend the fort. The field is perfect for these types of games because it is not too big or small. The fort in the middle is awesome. Lots of cover and is camouflaged well. It's more of an earthworks then a fort. I've only seen the fort taken once-it's almost impossible, however it's always very close- great play. A con is safety(so many regulations like no full auto or no shooting at someone after you hit them) but i guess it is better than having lax rules. If you get hungry, you can go eat in the pizza place at the bowling alley (but you aren't allowed in the alley because the staff hates us lowlife paintballers:)) Really the only major con is that it's on base and civilians can't get on unless they carpool with someone in the military. But, this isn't a real problem since Oak Harbor is a military town and everyone knows someone in the military. Staff is very knowledgable and mostly very friendly. All are quite experienced.
