So I was at the field yesterday and hung out for a bit and by far this is still one of the best spots to play at in the state. It sucks that Shawn is gone but that’s not the fields fault and given the situation in which he was forced to leave it is no ones fault and the field shouldn’t be looked poorly on because of it.
The previous review says you need a suv and/or a truck to get out there. BS!!! I take my 2004 Suzuki Forenza out there all the time with no issue, if you don’t drive like an idiot you should have no problem getting to the field with any type of vehicle. My little brother drives a slammed 2002 dodge Dakota on 20's with lo-pro tires and has no problem with this road. I am not trying to brag about the cars we have just simply provide some form of reference. I will admit though, the road is really rough.
As far as the field condition goes, could it improve? Yes. But this is true with any field you go to, compared to other fields in the state its got a ton more bunkers, and it has a multi building town with a big two level building to fight in!!!! I was there when the put this up and saw how much work went in to it and did Bruce and Bryan increase entry fees? Did they jack up paint costs? Did the make it a field paint only field? No!!! These guys have the interests of true balers’ in mind. I can say with out a doubt they have a long time customer and fan in me. Other fields in the state would do better if they were more like these guys.
