Paintball
Experience:
2 years
Other Fields
in the Area:
this is the only field that remains i know about from many years ago and just getting back into it.
Directions
to the Field:
It's located on Zaragosa right across from Oasis Lanes.
Review: Staff/Refs:
the staff's job is really to work the proshop and work the register. their service is good. there were no refs that monitored the games, so all games were based on an honor system and that worked well as there was no real issues with paintchecks.

Safety:
the safety of the field is a big of a concern, some tend to shoot the guns when not on the field, though there are signs all over the place that openly express the rules required so it was really up to the players to follow the rules.

Proshop:
nothing to elaborate, but there were a few items (guns, masks, tanks.)

Prices:
the cost of rental fpr a person without equipment is $50. this includes the field fee, gun, unlimited Co2, mask, and 500 paintballs. the camo they provide was not really part of the rental and it was old dirty and looks like its never been washed . the guns are in really bad shape, the grips and tripper guard was falling off, Co2 tanks leaking, some guns did not shoot over 150fps and caused some balls not to break, so this issue resulted in some people getting shot multiple times. the guns were replaced with another once we figured out what was the problem. if you had your own equipment the price was $40 with 500 paintballs, unlimited HPA. it was a bit ridiculous when the prices were evaluated, you could get 1000 for 35 and 2000 for 50. prices for paint were cheaper then field and rental fees. you could also rent a body shield for $5. one note Fridays is Ladies play free.

Players:
now i went with a group of 6 ranging from ages 23-29, only one of us had a gun, but all of us had prior field experience at this field. there were other players there that were a part of a group of 7 younger kids ages 13-18, for a few of them it was their first time and were a little apprehensive playing against older experienced players. we played one game of 6 vs 7 and our own team ran out of paint to end the game ( i think only one of us was shot. so after that we decided the only way we were gonna have fun is if we split up our six, all we wanted to do was shoot something and if it was shooting eachother lets do it. the play got more fun after that.

Fields:
they only have two fields woodsball/speedball, so take your pick.

woodsball:good size field, probably should only hold a 6v6. there was plenty to hid behind and even with the inaccurate guns it played well, though you had to be a pretty good shot and if you shot from one side of the field it was most likely your ball was not gonna break. there were many obstacles. a couple of bunkers, sniper posts, tires, tubing, plenty of trees, and plywood. it was a pretty fun field. took a lot of strategy.

speedball: this was also fun to play, again we split up the teams and went at it for a couple games. these were a little more faster matches. was set up with a couple tin wedges and log walls, tubes on one side, dirt mounds on the other, so the field played pretty well if you figured out how to move around and cover each other.

Conclusion:
though the equipment was not up to par for the price we played the games were fun and we had a good time with it. i hadn't played paintball in quite a few years, but as soon as we got on that field it was like old times. i would recommend the owners upgrading the guns, getting new masks, and some new camo. maybe lower the field price a little. again overall experience was good, but since we are ranking the business i would say it is average in the current state. make some corrections and it could only get better.
