Sudden Impact Scenarios, Rapidfire Paintball, Ground Zero Paintball
Review:
The Field
Trench style warfare,
---2 trenches facing each other topped with sandbags, lined walls to prevent the soil from collapsing, and mulch covering the bottom to keep you out of the mud
---well constructed bunkers,
carefully constructed with carefully crafted openings and windows
---well groomed paths and brush!
the ground has been carefully cleaned to be rid of dangerous stumps, and deadfall. The brush has been pruned to give good manuverability, without comprimising natural cover.
Future plans are in the works for expanding Bad Bob's with a second field in 2010....
The Staff
The refs are players themselves, but yes, most of the refs are new to reffing. However they are very attenitive to their duties, and are committed to providing a safe and pleasurable experience. To agree with the previous review, They are on there way to becoming "a well oiled machine"
Safety mesurements
Netting is in place to protect players between the field and the staging area. Rules are carefully explained to ALL players every game. All markers are put on the cronograph, including the rental markers.
The pricing
I find the pricing very reasonable to the region.
$0.45 per ounce for CO2 ($0.50 on average for quinte/kingston area)
$1 per 1000psi on HPA (matches average price for region)
(see previous post for the paint pricing)
The players
The players who attend range from newbies to seasoned players, Ages ranging from young to old. The teams are organized to keep it fair and balanced. All efforts are made by the staff to make sure all players enjoy a rewarding experiance.
