Dispute: I’ve been playing here for the past 4years and since then the fields have just been upgraded.. I’ve only have a problem with one ref since then,. But for the most part all the ref are cool. They constantly help out all the new players and give them advice.
* How could you say that the manager seems like a nice guy when you have never actually talked to him.
* As I said the refs do care about the players. Especially Sam, I think he’s the best ref out there.
*No sharp objects are on the floor, maybe some of the pros might be semi sharp but not the to the point where you’ll bleed to death.
* Agreed more restrooms are required, but on the bright side they now have running water!! =)
* And last but not least TACO TRUCK!! The food is amazing! Try the Polish dog!!
Look, I'm trying to like this place and enjoy playing there i really am. So i took it on myself to actually get down to the bottom of everything and here is what i found out.
~ I talked to the head ref - as pinturaballer said his name is Sam, awfully cool guy but as i was talking to him he told me something rather strange. He said that he didn't really enjoy working there and that he was only still working because he needs to pay off his glasses, and that as soon as he can he was going to quit. He also told me that he lived all the way in Bellflower, if I'm not mistaken that is where HSP is located.. why does he not just work there? same company right? I felt sorry for the guy and dropped the conversation after that. At least he doesn't live somewhere farther like Redondo Beach or Carson.
~ The manager - Josh i believe is his name. Would you rather me say that he doesn't seem like a nice guy? lol. But jokes aside, yeah he does seem like a nice guy. Very festive for lack of a better word. Whenever i saw him he always had a smile on and seemed very helpful.
~ I cant agree with you about the sharp objects on some of the fields. Tire Town for example, there is a shack on the bottom of the field where players will tend to go into. Inside this shack there are boards lying all around the floor in a very unorganized manner, this is where i saw the first rusty objects - nails. nails sticking out of the floor boards and around the windows. Hyper ball - pallets with more nails. the field right below hyper ball ( don't know the name ) tires with bees, yes bees as in BUZZ BUZZ. But by far the field i see as the biggest hazard is Terminator city. Countless sharp edges and points. Towers that do not seem sturdy. Are you allowed to go into them? Because i saw a kind climbing into one. there's broken down cars and a trailer, glass, splintered edges and walls, i could go on.
~ Running water that's great! something that the old park DID NOT HAVE haha. is it drinkable? because if it is that would be a lot more convenient more a lot of people.
~ Food - taco truck rock on! I'll have to try the polish dog some other time. only problem is it needs to stay longer. Maybe i can use this as a ice breaker to talk to Josh. It has to stay longer~!
