I attended the 2010 Frozen Tundra Black Market Scenario game. This was an exceptionally well run event. Games & missions went off right on schedule. The refs were everywhere, in the thick of it, and making the calls. When the tide turned against the heavily outnumbered team, an adjustment was made and a "generous" reinsertion schedule for that team kept the action moving and prevented a shutout or masacre. I was on that outnumbered team, and ran for 5 hours straight. There was no waiting!
There are woods, villages, hyperball, and other fields available for whatever your style of play. I didn't see an airball/xball field, but I think there is one on the other side of the road. If you are considering bringing a group, Chris, the manager, will make sure you have a good time.
If you sign up for the Black Market Season Pass ($149.00), you get all of those games, plus weekend open play all season. It is a "field paint only" field, but prices weren't too bad. We used Polar Ice for the January game.
Pro shop is well stocked and helpful. CO2, 3000psi & 4500psi air all available with multiple fill stations. I never waited for air despite the large number of players.
At this event they sold snacks and water, but no meals. I think this may be different in the summer.
I put down that I have played at this field for 3 years. PSI has not been open this long. This field used to be run by a different owner/company. This was my first time here under the new owner who is working hard to make this a premier field. They are doing great so far.
I bought the pass and will be there alot this sumer. |
