Where do I start. I had a private group so I can't say what the walk on games are like. I wouldn't be able to tell you if they seperated the beginners from the intermediate to the advanced players. But Tombstone does offer a lot for a Rec player like myself.
Parking, the lot we parked at was in the middle of the park. There were fields on both sides, so walking to each field and walking back to the car was a breeze. There was ample parking, we had about 6 cars and had plenty of room to set up our tarp and tables. Morning rules, our Ref did that for us ON THE FIELD. That was very convenient. The crowd, seeing how Tombstone is relatively new, was still small. The fields, very typical of a nice paintball park, well maintained and you have many fields to choose from. Their hyperball field is HUGE. Playing on the field alone was well worth it. Some of the newer fields that weren't at the old Tombstone are nice. We got to play on every field we asked for. Our Ref did a wonderful job of getting us onto the fields we wanted and was there for paint check. He was by no means a slacker. I believed we got in 17+ games, it would have been more but we were taking our sweet time during breaks. Lunch, they have a roach coach there. The air fill station is typical.
It was a pleasure playing at Tombstone. If you like the old Tombstone, you'll love the new one as well.
Parking and crowd subject to change with the growing popularity of the park. |
