Really, REALLY terrible. This is the first field I ever went to, and now that I have gone to better, I now know how bad it really is. The owner often hasn't bought enough paint, causing games to end early. The rentals are in a VERY beat up condition, with many of the Tippmann 98s he offers missing the front grip, or having a slightly bent barrel. The best turnout I have seen there is 20 players. Worst is the owner not turning up. I phoned him, and he said "Well, I feel ill" and he didn't have the courtesy to leave a note outside saying "closed" or phoning up the regulars. The bunkers range from usable to dangerous, one of which the ramp is a broken piece of roofing. It wasn't bolted in atall, and I fell off, landing into a bog. If the bog didn't cushion me, I likely would of broken something. Since that incident, I have bought my own marker, and visit other fields.
I now go to Storm warning and Mersey Road. Sure, I have to drive and I cant just walk down there, but they have a MUCH better turn out, fields, bunkers, rentals, everything!
Dispute: That is really REALLY negative and I am glad that you have an outlet for your anger in paintball...This owner has had numerous local people SAY they will show up and are so inconsistent. He does it for a Hobby and it is his passion. The economy is not good and maybe one day when you start your own business, you will remember this and think..."hey I was really negative".
Paintball is a passion and AT LEAST there is a paintball field in Digby. Have fun in your travels to your new pb field. A REAL PAINTBALLER will go play in their back yard and not condemn the local businesses around Digby. No shows...no games...
There is more than enough paint and CO2 and people get lots of perks.
Too bad you're so burned. You must be new to the area.
