Well because this was an indoor feild i liked it over battlegroundz and boston paintball
Review: Ok my experience at xtreme action sports was a good one.
I got excited after watching there videos they have on there site cause i like tactical play.
And being that this was an indoor place it offers something a little bit different.

When i arrived the place was doing some construction to the pro shop so it wasnt even up yet , but i came for the play and not for the shop.

Now i was all excited to paintball there , but when i arrived they told me they use powder? What the hell is that. I got dissapointed because i had never used it. Basically its a ball size of a .68 caliber paintball but instead of paint its power. Up until i used it i didnt think it would be fun but after the first round it was perfect. and yes the powder balls hurt but not as much as the paintballs.

Now here is the thing playing here, since you are playing in close quarters they make you turn your psi way down. when you play here you are shooting each other in close quarters so i dont think getting hit at a PSI of 280 at 10 feet or closer would be desireable.

If you bring your own marker be prepared to test it out at the chrono . I tested my marker and found for some strange reason the powder balls were jamming my mag fed milsig marker so i couldnt use it. same thing with my tippman tpx , it would shoot but i think the texture on the powder balls get a little finiky with my guns so i ended up renting. which was ok for me , being that there is alot of powder being shot , i wasnt sure if i was ready to commit to having that stuff junk up my gun. i did however see another player using his speedball gun and it worked fine for him so i just think this being my first time with powder i wanted to play it safe.

Now back to actual play. there wasnt a whole bunch of people when we got there around 5pm. but it was cool to play in a small group. going in and out of the rooms were great. there is so much to do in games you can really have fun with this place.

there is a decent sized waiting area and down the hall there are viewing windows where you can watch the game play - which some people watching said it was great to see cause you can see the players sneak up on each other !

If you get thirsty they have drinks and snacks.
and i didnt find it particulary hot inside , they had one of the loading dock bay doors open so there was some good ventilation.

Refs were cool . they didnt bust balls but they have you follow the standard rules.

I had a great time there and im looking at going back.
i love the fact that they have late hours so for those who like to paintball after the outside parks close then you come right here to do a couple more hours till i think 9pm.

wonder what else they may do at this place to expand but hope this one stays around for awhile . so if you like tactical close quarter play be sure to come here.

also be sure to ask for a vip card. not sure if they just give em out or if they are still have them to give away, but ask anyways there is a discount on the card for each time you go
