Review: This was the very first paintball field I played at. It wasn't until I started playing at some of the other fields around the area that I realized how good this one is.

The good:
-Excellent refs, friendly management etc...
- good services for renters and owners alike.
- varied terrain: A big hill, a backfield (more traditional bushball), another area with lots of bunkers.
-NICE players

The bad:
- not the largest field
- no good food for sale (but fast food delivery eg. pizza close by)

Summary: I've always enjoyed the games at north shore. When I first started, I was a renter, and now I'm a gun owner and a regular. Both experiences very lots of fun. The reason for this is the refs. At other fields, the refs can be disinterested, or sometimes not even present. Not so here! At north shore, the refs are very involved in the game, calling out players, preventing cheating, and giving advice to the renters. In short, they actually care! By having refs like these, you don't often see players cheating by wiping paint off etc... If you call for a paint check, they will even run into a firefight to check to see if you shot some one. The players are also nice, welcoming for new players and don't have the attitude seen at some other fields. The paint must be better than in the past based on some of the earlier reviews, as I find it no worse than any of the above fields. The rental equipment is at least as good as the other fields as they use HPA.

In short, north shore is the ideal field to start your paintball experience. If you are a regular paintballer, you'll love it too! NSPB gets a 10/10 for its fun, friendly games.
