Hey, i think everyone is underrating Barrie Paintball, ok, i think everyone can agree that the staff there is amazing, the owner is always there and is willing to help with anything. His son Ryan is very friendly, and is a great ref, and shoots a sweet gun which he is not a jerk about, he lets me handle it, and always is happy to talk to people. What we can agree on is that the prices in his proshop are awful. 749 CD for an A5 with an RT and double trigger? what, are you kidding me? I just bought an A5 sniper package with R/T for 691! and that includes a remote flatline and stock! plus i just sold the remote for 100, so i got the same gun, with a flatline barrel and CAR stock for 591! Anyway back to the field...Its got over a dozen amazing fields. Ho Chi Min is the only one that could be improved upon, but that is in progress. Let me see, The Town is amazing so many buildings, such an amazing field, not like wasagas crap town with like, 8 buildings! Barrie's town is massive, probably 300 obstacles. Cars, buildings, catwalks, Tons of bunkers, trenches ETC. Another great field is the Castle, most people don't like it but they don't know the little tricks that make it great. For you barrie players, first off, when you are on the high side of the castle, get to the Trench with the sandbags along the front of it, lined up with the center of the castle. Then look for a little spot in the bottom of the wall where there is no wood, you can snipe peoples feet all day. Also on the side of the castle closest to the main safe zone there is a huge hill. If you can get to it you have a clear view of the door...boom sitting ducks. Then, the valley is amazing, a bus and an army trailer at opposite sides of a small valley with tons of obstacles in it. Countless games can be played here, and it is amazingly fun trying to take the bus. Hmmmm, they have 3 hill fields Hamburger Hill, Heartbreak Ridge and Vimy Ridge. Hamburger hill....wow....it is so much fun playing this field...whether attacking or defending i get excited when the ref announces we are going to hamburger next. Vimy is a very good field too, it is very difficult to take the top but if you go about it right the defenders don't know what hit em and you can get in from the side, and they are toast. Heartbreak is one of the best fields i have ever played, it is perfectly set up. There is a large cabin at the top and a hill surrounding it on all sides. taking the hill is tough, defending it is even tougher. Anyway this is getting too long so i will end it. GO TO BARRIE PAINTBALL IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GREAT TIME! plain and simple. |
