First, its not far from Los Angeles, like a 25 min drive. Conveniently located at Santa Clarita, just an exit away is home to many business and restaurants that you can dine at. The field has one porto potty that isnt so clean. They have no food service because i dont know why. There are 2 fields and 1 speedball course. The big field is the one primarily used by walk-ons, the smaller field is used for speedball games because the speedball course (1vs1 course) is out of shape. The fields are very hilly and please wear some cleats or atleast shoes you never intend on wearing. There are lots of bunkers to hide at, including one they call "Star Fleet" which is as big a small yacth. The refs are very nice and listen to what you say, call out "paintcheck", they'll be happy to climb/run/hike to your spot. Refs frequently make sure no one is shooting hot and always looks for players who dont wear their goggles. The owner is nice, IIsports holds a free one on one tournament at Field of Fire once a month (the second saturday of the month) where many prizes are given away, as well as a raffle and free gifts for everyone. Field fee: All day $20, field patch $15 (must have field patch, purchase for $10, everytime you go to field of fire it will only be $15 dollars for admission. Co2 is 4 dollars a fill (20oz), nitro/compressed air is $5 all day. This field is fun, safe, and full of adrenaline all the way. |
