Review: Simply Put, this is one of the 3 best fields in Texas. It is impossible to go here and not have a good time. The fields are astonishingly well thought out and deliberate. As apart from the rest of Texas there aren't any sharp chawlk type rocks waiting for you to slip on or fall on to create those amazingly surgical cuts. Somehow i think these rocks would have decreased the pain extinguished buy traditional stainless steel scalpes. The reffing was crude (meaning basic) and worth while. The reffs while obviously not national paintball commends were freindly and helpful. I understand spotting paintballs and putting up with some of the veteran player's "typical tournament rage fever" is exhausting so expect them to lay rest from time to time. Another positive aspect toward Petty's PB is the Bring Your Own Paint point of interest. Understanding why other fields use the "Field Paint Only" theorem has came slowly to me and making that idea seem irrelevent to a field that has: 1: good management and: 2 : well trained staff: something that Petty's PB has a lot of talent in. Considering the paintball is the most effective upgrade you can have is essential to victory. Petty's PB just seems to have a rather safe enviroment and no worries to those who like to brake the rules. From outstanding management to the game, everything just makes this the perfect place from beginners up.
I have seen practically all the fields from here to California and up to Nevada and this is one of the few I would actually consider reporting about in Action Pursuit Games Magazine (TM & Copyright Protect)

If you would like to send in a second thought or a feature I missed you can email me at and your thoughts and ideas will be taken into consideration.
