Combat Zone is a great place overall. They have good sized fields and refs actually know what there doing.
Good:
-The fields are in the best setup that I've seen and have good cover.
-Prices are great, it's only $15 for all day access and 200 paintballs (if you have your own equipment).
-The CO2 is free.
-The games are well organized and the refs make sure theres plenty of action happening.
-Theres no waiting around. After each round theres about 5 minutes of rest and then your back in the field for another round.
-There rental equipment is in top condition. (They mostly rent out Tippmanns).
Bad:
-The only bad thing about this place is that you have to use their paint.
I would have to say this is the best field that I've been to in Minnesota, and if you do decide to go, make sure you stay for the Alamo field at the end of the day. The only reason that the rating isn't 10 is because you can't use your own paint. |
