Review: We went once and that was the last. they have a arm band for everything. The set up was unorganized. Recrono evertime you reenter the game back at the main blg was a pain ( why not have refs with hand chrono's on the fields) They use Deoblow junk paint and the prices were high. They do have some cool fileds and a castle but so does Skirnish and a much better one too. This field wont change and eventially fade away like it did when it was the Wolfs lair.

Funny comments, considering a few things. It's actually Severe paintball, not Diablo. Yet you compare them to Skirmish who have even WORSE paint, and even HIGHER prices... MUCH higher prices, over 20 dollars more a case. And at least EMR keeps paint in a better conditioned room, not some shack where the elements still get to it.

And heaven forbid chronographing when you re-enter, wouldn't want to be SAFE now do ya? Oh right, you like Skirmish where they don't even bother enforcing any real safety/chronographing.

To each their own.

Total agreement with Meph. EMR hasn't used Diablo paint for a few years now. And the comment about the fields never changing? The field changes every time i'm up there! They are always improving and forming new fields, both big and small. The castle is upgraded every year. This year, i hear they've upgraded the towers to some massive 3-story towers to help defend it against the attackers during big games.

As for prices, 80 bucks a case (including tax) for field paint isn't high at all. If you know of a field with the reputation of EMR, the quality staff and fields of EMR, and the excitement and fun of the games held at EMR, and STILL find better prices, well i guess you're lucky son of a gun...

At the compared field above, i've seen refs themselves on field during a game with masks off walking around. It's hard enough keeping the players safe, let alone trying to with a staff that shows them all the wrong moves. Boo to them. In fact, the only reason i don't go to 'the other field' anymore is due to their reffing. Prices i can deal with, though they are a bit high. I want to play in a safe area with fun refs who know how to do their jobs right. EMR has all of that and more. Compare this guys review to the others listed and you'll see the truth.

To each their own is true, but i recommend you know what you're talking about before you give your opinions. Meph, perhaps i'll see you on the fields, though i won't know who you are haha!
