I must say, Blackrain and Futureworld are practically one in the same, seeing as all the Futureworld groupies have funneled there. If you liked Futureworld, which I don't see how you couldn't, you'll love Black Rain. Review: Black Rain Paintball is a field located in Racine, WI. They are a fairly small indoor field, but don't be fooled. They have THE lowest prices around, with paint averaging around $50 a case. Paint is Big Ball, a bit of PMI Premium, and Diablo Blaze. High pressure air is available, which is a big plus. The one thing that makes Black Rain stand out is the atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and definatly make it worth coming back. Due to the family type atmosphere, expect to find alot of younger players, but hey, isn't that a good thing? The field is roughly 120x50 (rough estimate), and is actually very fun to play considering the close quarters. The refs are very observant, and try their best to get players more into the game. Safety is enforced to the T, but it is not overdone. All in all, Black Rain is definatly a field worth checking out. Nate(Crimson Ki Saturday, January 31st, 2004 | 8:11 am PST This is a great field. I ref occasionaly or whenever the refs wanna jump in a game. I will say never play with Team Moron. They are some of the biggest cheaters ever. The staff is great its a fun atmoshpere. You never get bored. Everyone is always laughing on and off the field. As long as a ref responable enough to devide the teams is there it should be fine for begineers. I love this field. I can not wait till the new building gets up and running.
